About Eli

Building the relationships that make lasting change possible.

Eleanor — known as Eli — brings nearly 30 years of diverse experience across education, the criminal justice system, the charitable sector and, for the past decade, local government in the East Riding.

Her career has been shaped by roles where strong relationships, creativity and practical problem-solving were essential. Eli has worked across very different environments, but the common thread has always been the same: helping people and organisations work together to create better outcomes.

Earlier in her career, Eli served as Deputy Director at Safe Ground, an innovative arts-based educational charity. There, she helped develop and deliver bespoke family relationship and parenting programmes designed to support male offenders and their families — work that required sensitivity, collaboration and a deep understanding of the complex circumstances affecting individuals and communities.

Her later work in local government has further strengthened her understanding of how public services, voluntary organisations and local communities can collaborate effectively — particularly when challenges do not fit neatly within the boundaries of one service or organisation.

At Youth Futures Partnership, Eli brings that experience into a role focused on partnership development, engagement and collaboration, helping ensure that young people, communities and partner organisations are part of the conversation from the beginning.
